So, my fabulous alternator dies Saturday night -- naturally the 240 was already laid up (see post below for gory details).

Got the alternator rebuilt for $60, but the car's still running off the battery.

Voltage regulator?

How hard is this job and how much should the part run?

I still hate electricity.
