Replaced my air-filter today and noticed it had a 3" dirty spot where the majority of the air enters through that 4x6[restricter doo dad]in the bottom of the box.I removed it , and I swear the car⏣ 740t] runs better.I've always had the flap wired open[no hot air].Does anyone know the purpose of this thing?It's got to breath better with out it.
