960 turn signal problems

I've seen cheap, aftermarket bulbs get too hot an dmelt the little round contacts at the base of the bulb until they short together.

Bear in mind too that your flasher mechanism is contained within the hazard relay ass'y, behind the hazard switch. 1 side could be dead. But check the bulbs too.
