See the FAQ for more information on the B280 six-cylinder, which is VERY different from the B6300 in-line six in the 960.

The B280 was reconfigured in the late eighties to improve cam lubrication and longevity and is a fine engine. The earlier B28 suffered from failing cams, so the market has depreciated all V-Six Volvo cars and you can get a great deal on these if they are late 1980s cars with the B280.
