Can I set the timing on my car, a 1990 765 turbo with the LH Jetronic 2.4 fuel injection. I read in Chiltons that it's not possible on later model 900 series cars with the Motronic EFI because it's all computer-controlled. But I don't know if it's possible with the LH Jetronic 2.4. A friend of mine says we should be able to set the "base" timing and that the computer then adjusts from that setting. The reason I want to check and set the timing is that the car detonates at 12psi turbo boost. Thanks for any help! -David DDMGA@YAHOO.COM
