Most at Brickboard, I think, will agree: '95 940T, or lacking that '94 or '93 in that order, in the best possible shape. Pay more for a car in mint condition rather than less for one not well cared for. I suggest you keep it stock and spend your money to keep it up to factory specifications. Watch paint and interior which are more difficult and expensive to repair than mechanical or electrical parts. Four Bridgestone SO3 tires from Tire Rack will do wonders in wet and dry (NOT SNOW). If you must tinker, a Dawes device (and perhaps their air/fuel meter) set to 12 psi with a calibrated vacuum/pressure gauge will give you around 200 hp. This will cause only some additional wear, repairs and maintenance, if you use rather than abuse that power.
