Installing a door, any advice?

Hi, Bruce!

Sorry to be late getting back to you; I'm a bit behind in my 'reading'.

I've never done it, but it's supposed to be pretty easy. Small chisel is what is often used; I've heard of it being done with a screwdriver. If you want to practice, you could go to a nearby pick-n-pull and practice on teh weld there. The new fender will lack the tack weld, but apparently that's not a major problem. I guess it doesn't flap in the wind...
