ive got an 85 760 turbo wagon. with the car warm, if i turn on the headlights, defroster(fan on max speed) the rear defroster, and fog lights, the charging system voltage hits 12 volts. at 2500 RPM it comes to about 13. i know this is a huge electrical load, but the regulator should keep it at 13 volts stable at idle, or at least i would think. Ive put in a new alternator, battery, done voltage drop tests, cleaned ALL of the ground and power connections (except in the fuse box), the car has a fairly new engine wiring harness. all of the headlight and various harnesses are intact. the battery load tests perfectly. i do have an electric fan on the car...but the problem exsists without it running. i've got the 70 AMP alternator. I notice when i turn on the headlights, the alternator sounds like it wines, and the engine rpm drops slightly. Help me please
