Car in question: 1985 244 B230 with AW71. Am I correct in assuming that just since the OD arrow light goes on and off that the relay is not necessarily functioning ( the relay clicks behind the dash)? ie. if the light and click are there, would I be wasting my time removing the relay for resoldering? If not, would I want to access the relay by taking off the console panel or go in thru the glovebox? Thanks in advance for your response(s) and I really did try the archives first.
