Thanks for the reference. I believe that if Will has an '85 700 series, it may have nivomats, but probably has a live rear axle. This means that he won't have to go through the whole nutroll of converting the IRS which requires a different spring setup. For what it's worth, I'm about to go through my nivomat conversion (I've got all the parts, just waiting on a chance to get to the craft shop) again on my '91, and I'll be updating procedures, maybe pictures, etc. etc.
