In December, I posted a message regarding the trouble I was having with my newly installed Pertronix "Ignitor". After installation and re-timing, I could not get the car to run correctly while accelerating. It would idle okay but would stumble when placed under load. I took the car to a mechanic friend who adjusted and fiddled for half an hour before suggesting it be scoped for a better idea of what was happening with the electrical power. The final analysis was that the unit was defective, though rare, it was a possibility. I am happy to report that the vendor, retrorockets.com, was very helpful in sending out a replacement unit. I would also like to comment the Pertronix's phone help was very kind and also willing to send a replacement unit. The new unit is now in place and the car runs splendidly. All is right in the world, once again....
