clutch master cylender? 1981 wagon

I think the master clutch cylinder went bad in my 1981 Volvo station wagon. I just purchased the car, and don't know if it even has one, but is definitely producing the symptoms. It will drive in the gear you start out in, but will not shift after you're moving. Does an 81 have a master cylinder? If so, how much would one cost new/rebuilt and where to go to get one?
