B230 Torque Converter probs

Ok all, I am doing my first engine transfer at age 17. I dont know anything and it is going painfully slow. And I am stuck. I need to know how to get the torque converter off of a b230 so I can put it on the engine stand. I though it was supposed to just slip off, but that thing is stuck. Any ideas?
