Adjusting is not difficult at all. The pivot bolt of the hinge can be adjusted up or down. There are two small circuler trim covers inside the car on the column behind the back seat. Pop off the cover and you will see a nut, loosen it slightly then tap down on the trunk hinge with trunk open. You will have to experiment to get the bolt loosened just right so it moves easily without flooping around. Check with a strip of paper pulled over the weather strip with trunk closed to see when have it right.
