I removed the large bushings using a recipricating saw. After removing the bolt, I sawed down on the inside of each flange leaving about a quarter inch of bushing remianing. The I used a punch and a hammer to remove the remaining portions. Cooled the new ones in the freezer and greased them well and used a threaded rod to pull them into place. The entire job took a leasurly saturday morning. I didn't find the job as difficult as many have made it out to be.
