I hate rivets. How to remove riveted speakers? 200 1991

Grrrr... The rear speakers and the front speaker carriers are riveted onto the door panel. I'm not good with rivets, I've been trying to drill them out, but it's not working so well. Please don't tell me I need to drill them from the otherside, which would mean removing all the door panels. Any help appreciated, thanks.
