HELP!!! -- Transmission

1987 240DL 120k runs perfect is 9 out of 10. Transmission is blowing trans fuid from the vent on top of trans. I have taken it to three different trans shops and 2 volvo experts in the region. ALL are stumped ...we have replaced ALL SEALS pan, selector etc. and have tested the trans lines and cooler flow. We have called some experts on this particular model in FL and they are even confused. It shifts and runs great. It blows about 1qt per 100miles I have put 2,000 on the car since it started doing this. It drives great I just have to keep putting fluid in it. NO IT IS NOT OVERFILLED. I purchased the car recently and noticed that the 1st gear started slipping thats how I discoverd this mess. Once I fill it up to proper levels she runs great.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

I also have a 90 740 with 216k owned since 1991 its my baby and runs like a top no problems.
