My recently and not driven much 142E starts ok and runs great when warm but is hard to keep running when cold. Believe it or not it will stay running if I pump the gas as if it were a carberated engine. Seems strange to me.
I checked the resistance on the engine temp sensor and it seems to match the book cold and hot. And when I have the wire off I would think the engine would run rich but it doesn't seem to make a differnce.
I am planning on restoring the car and would like to run the fuel injection system but I am not a patient man. An available Weber set up is tempting me to yank all the injection stuff off the car.
Thanks for the help!
