122 cooling problem 120-130 1965

Hello,

My '65 122s (B-18D) will run hot when at a standstill in hot weather. Holding a high idle helps marginally. It cools down when the car is moving. I recently, with a garden hose, back-flushed the radiator as well as sprayed water through the coil.

A. Could it be the thermostat?

B. Can I put a 1800 fan shroud on a '65 type 122 radiator?

C. Are 3-row radiators available for 122s or is this a custom core job?
