Jerry,

I've done it and I got lucky in that I was able to get all the lines loose. Clean the entire assembly up with a wire brush as much as possible. Soak with a GOOD penetrant over a period of days- I use Kroil others prefer PB Blaster. Purchase a high quality line wrench- do not attempt this job with an open end wrench. Good luck.
