Most of my responses are based on my own experiences. On some techinical questions I have several Volvo manuals and am more than willing to take the time to look up information for someone that doesn't have access to the same. Recently I posted some information on starters which I got from the reference manual I have from Volvo. It was pointed correctly that while the starters were interchangeable the solenoids were not. I certainly didn't have a problem with that fact pointed out. I was strictly looking at the starter and not both. But never the less it was a point well taken. Most people buy a starter and expect to just put it in without having to swap solenoids. If someone wants to take exception to what I have posted I am not going to have a problem with it. I have received alot of thank yous and that makes this board really special in that one can help someone else. Enough said.
