Oxygen sensor removal

My stinkin' oxygen sensor is seized to the exhaust manifold so bad that the two are now one. The only way that I will get it out is to take a cutting torch and heat the manifold cherry red around the sensor break the top off of the sensor so that I can get a damn socket on the hex part of it and hope for the best. Any suggestions?
