Remove Emissions Stuff? 200 1978

I'm in the process of removing emissions equipment from my 1975 Fiat Spider. Makes a significant performance difference on that little 1800cc motor. Best thing about living in rural Illinois vs. Southern California is no emissions testing.

Question: How difficult is it to pull this stuff off a 240 with the B21F engine? And will it make enough of a performance difference to warrant the time? Anybody out there done it?
