hidy ho, brickheads

this may be a dumb question, I have read that the bolt pattern for the wheels on my '88 760 TI is 5 by 114.3, but the pattern for my '91 940 SE is 5 by 108, is this true??? if so i thought the cars had the same running gear. If true, the 5 by 114 is the same as the 5 lug Ford Mustang, which is good for me, because I want 17" but I can't find any for the Volvo, but I own a bunch of Mustangs,,
