Most of you knew I thought, but its a cam that came stock in the Canadian and Euro Volvos of certain years.

It came out in the late 70s on the euro cars, and in 81-82 and early 83 possibly on the Canadian B23E engine.

With the engine tuned for Hp and Torque etc., mods, exhaust pipe, fuel mix, the car has almost no idle.

My B23 at the stop light would jiggle my knees and the car would stall when it was a little bit cold out, even though there was absolutely nothing wrong with the engine. The duration and lift are so exceptional in this cam that at 850 RPM the engine breathes too much for the car to handle.

All you have to do is adjust the idle speed up.

But if you have an automatic (gawd forbid you) then your stuck. Car will jiggle the brains out of you and peices will start falling off your car.

One person commented on the car "what a peice, this car is gonna fall apart"

Then, you press the pedal down ever so innocently, and they find out what a "k" cam really is, and why the car is jiggling and shaking like its got hypothermia at the stop light.
