I don't have a 700, but if the switch is in the dash rather than the steering column, it is an easy job. The dash mounted switches have a plug at the rear that just pulls off. there are two small screws holding the old switch on.

My problem is getting my hands in the tight spot. REMEMBER TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY BEFORE WORKING UNDER THE DASH
