Tranny is together... last question :)

I finally put everything back together, with the new ATF filter. I read through the archives, some people say to use Dexron with the automatic tranny, others say ATF type F.. Well quite frankly i can't find the latter anywhere. So is it ok to use Dextron III? It's an 87 240dl. Thanks guys for all the help.
