I just had the opportunity to buy "an old worn out parts car", a 73 145 wagon that didn't run. Went to get it for $250 for the motor and misc and the car is nearly perfect. The points had collapsed. Driving the thing daily now. The question is: what are some options for those obnoxious, and broken, front signal lenses. What a boner of an idea. Some of the older 140's have a different lense, but there seems to be a hole cut for them in the fenders. Anyone ever change out these big lenses to something else. The car would certainly look better, and perhaps they wouldn't be broken all of the time.
Thanks,
Leonard
BTW-the car is a one owner with 93K on it. Not a dent, but could use a bit of paint. Put the 15 inch mags from an 83 760 turbo diesel on it. Thinking that privacy glass and the 2001 Vette "Milenium Yellow" paint would make it "stand out".
