I noticed my rear bumper was loose so I figured it was a loose bolt or nut. I discovered that the stud was turning with the nut, so I removed the plastic bumper cover. Underneath, the aluminum bumber was completely risted out where it is bolted to the shocks. I'm not kidding, two large squares. So I yanked it off, removed the old studs and nuts (which were left on the shocks) and that's where I stand. What should I do? Can my bumper be patched or can I grab one from a wreck. Wouldn't IT be rusty too? The amount of salt that fell out between the plastic and the aluminum was ridiculous. That bumber IS aluminum right?
Options would be great. Also, will a sedan bumber fit a wagon? All 740's?
Thanks,
Rene
