Why you should sometimes spend more money ALL

I had a YJ Jeep in the shop today with poor start, lousy power. On the drive, it feltlike it had no fuel. Pressure gauge says 22psi, s/b 40. Phone owner, price of pump assy $300. cdn, so he brings me the pump he took out 3 years ago. The problem then was not pump but wiring, but they didn't take the new jobber pump out. I reinstalled the original 11 year old Bosch pump that had sat dry on a shelf for 3 years and all is fine.

Moral of my story- Don't buy cheap pumps- you will live to regret it.
