Re: crankcase pressure, odd question ALL 1989

Don/All - did all that. Everything cleaned and/or replaced as per your previous post. Does this indicate excessive blow-by from the rings being worn out? I don't have a compression gauge to test cylinders. Is this my (our) next step? No leaks from any of the seals - just "puffing" out of the valve cover when oil filler cap is removed. OBTW - why don't either the Bentley or Haynes manuals even show the plug on the back of the head? I assume it's for the other models that had the rear mounted distributors. Mine popped approx 10K ago, caused some serious head scratching not even knowing what it was at the time. Since replaced and checked weekly (will make a retainer as per your excellent design).
