trans noise 120-130 1966

I just adopted a 1966 122 2 dr. The 4 sp transmission seems to make a bad noise in neutral and 4th.It sounds like a pilot bearing? or a transmission bearing? What could it be?

The noise goes away in 1-2-3rd.I checked the oil level its ok

The car has a lot of miles. and was off the road for 3 months, the tires

were bouncy for 10 miles.
