Blower motor "whine" 700 1990

I noticed a "whine" the other day while driving and have pinpointed it to the heating/AC blower fan. When set on the #1 position it makes the noise, but in a higher position or "off" it doesn't make the whining noise. Is there a way to lubricate the blower motor to get rid of this annoying noise ?
