Here is an update on our efforts to organize an all Volvo track day at Thunderhill Raceway, north of Sacramento California on April 30. We now have over 40 people who have paid deposits, and we have OK’d and signed the contract with the track. It will definitely happen. Our intent is to cut registration off at 50 to make sure we have plenty of room and track time. If you are considering participating in this event, please contact Keith Soreng at ksoreng@neteze.com You might do so soon, as we expect to fill up and you will be sorry if you miss it. Your car doesn’t have to be modified or race prepared. Just regular highway safety items like seat belts, etc are required. You must have a helmet. Open to all Volvos old and new. Spectators are welcome, no charge.

In addition, we will be having a large car show and swap meet in Davis central Park Pavilion on Sunday April 29. Over 100 cars last year, and plenty of parts, etc. You need not register, just show up.
