let me make the setting for you. my '89 760T parked in driveway, and overnight a big snowstorm comes, and completely covers my car in snow, but i'm not afraid cause it's a volvo. in the morning i turn on my car, and what do i see? my engine temp. gauge way past the "red" zone. confused, and bewildered, i check for coolant, and replace the thermostat. still nothing. i talk to some people, and they suggest replace temp. sending unit, or temp. sending unit is grounded. so, what do i do? anyone? i'm lost. i look at the TSU, or what i think is it, and try to trace it, but it goes into a big mesh of wires that are all protected. any suggestions?
