don't use overdrive...not that you'll stay in it very long unless you're going downhill!

Constant in/out won't help it and I understand it won't take maximum torque for long when towing.

You shouldn't need a trans oil cooler/it uses the engine radiator unless your stock radiator is on the way out. It wouldn't hurt to change your trans fluid before the trip and monitor it on the trip.
