I don't sell oil and I'm not an industrial chemist but I'll tell you what I do know. Any oil that turns black due to heat causing carbonisation is not going to do your engine any long term favors. One of my nieghbours has a 940 turbo and he swears his Mobil 1 is good oil but after just a few thousand k carbon deposits are plainly visible. On the otherhand a friend of mine recommended another oil for my 740 turbo which he also uses, and I'am extremely happy with it. The oil is manufactured by Lubrication Engineers of Fort Wurth Texas ( we go to a lot of trouble to get this oil, as where in Australia). This oil can stand much higher temperatures than conventional oils and therefore tends not to carbonise. It is also reasonably priced in view of the recommended 30,000km change intervals.
Anyway don't take my word for it, you can no doubt do your own homework, but in my opinion other oils are junk by comparison.
cheers
