Only special tool needed is a torque wrench. A pair of alignment bolts is usefull but not necessary. You can make your own by cutting the heads off a couple of old head bolts, and cut a slot in the top to help remove them with a screwdriver once the head is on. If you don't have old head bolts, you can pick up a couple long bolts or threaded rod at the local auto parts store.
