'New' 1985 740T Help Needed 700 1985

Greetings All,

Let me say first that I just picked up an 85 740T and love it, but there are a few small things that need attention, and would love any help/suggestions that any of the Volvo experts here could offer!

I can not seem to figure out how to adjust the driver seat height. I checked for a lever on the inside of the seat neat the barking brake, but had no luck. The bar under the front of the seat works to slide the seat forward and back but that does notihng for the height.

One of the passenger side doors makes a loud pop when it moves from position to position to closed. It looks like the wheels that guide the movement might be rusted, but I am not sure.

Lastly, I have noticed occasionally when I floor it a cloud of exaust comes out the rear of the car from the tailpipe area. Is this just the turbo venting at high rpm?
