Header pipe leak

This is what I did to temporarily fix my 2002 S40 front pipe -- That pipe incorporates a woven flexible section and includes the "cat". The woven section broke completely 3/4 of the way back. Between the solid part of the pipe before the woven section and the end of the woven section was about 15". I forced the woven section back in place and wrapped the works with a piece of tin I had lying around and clamped both ends with hose clamps. It leaked a bit but is 90 percent quieter. When I next visit my son who has access to a torch and lift I'll be able to replace the whole system which I've already purchased. You should have little difficulty doing the same. - Dave
