My condolences. Sometimes an "event" such as you had tells you when it's "time". My 1980 245 told me last year, when after over 20 years of daily service, I stepped out of my house to witness an 18 inch section of the left side rocker panel dropped to the ground. At least it served as a donor - the steering rack the first to go--the M46 soon afterwards. Now it's a storage shed. - Dave
