Muffler rattling 700

The front muffler (one after the Cat converter) is rattling. The car seems to accelerate ok, however when at idle, and I put my hand by the tail pipe the exhaust output force "seems' reasonable. When the revs are increased there is a noticeable decrease in exhaust output. Shouldn't the exhaust force increase?
