Dear j.pelchat,

Hope you're well and stay so! The windshield is part number 9447824. Tasca Volvo offers this item at $233.72. I presume shipping is "extra". It might be worthwhile to ask about shipping from Providence, RI (Tasca's site) to Washington, D.C.

I'd prefer to have a Volvo brand item: a windshield is a mission-critical part.

As to installation, what matters most is removing all of the old adhesive, without scratching the surrounding metal. A small nick or scratch can be the start of rust-out. This happened to my 240 wagon, due to a windshield installer's careless (or incompetence).
