Sparks are indicative of a high current (like a short!) for which the connection through which is is flowing (switch or clips or loose bolt) are inadequate... Current rating for Remote Starter Sw should be 10A min. Exactly where did the sparks occur? At the clip of Rem St Sw or at nut of Sol output conn?

As I suggested on FB...nut on Sol output conn looks loose...have you checked this?
