i've done a few of those and it's a job you don't want to do twice because you cheaped out. ajusa over victor on a honda or a toyota. no opinion on volvos except not victor. get a head gasket from the dealer, get the rest you can get wherever. and always have the head checked by a pro. good luck, chuck.
