The front seats ARE from a "late model 240" -- maybe '91 or '92. I put the same seats in my '84 245Ti to replace the very bad leather seats. If they can be fitted to the 122 then any 240 front seat can be mounted--the frames/mounting are essentially the same throughout the 240 model run.
Your issue seems to be the reat seat. The rear seat in the red 122 wagon looks to be a 122 wagon seat -- but reupholstered. -- Dave
