Glad I went back and checked connections.
The point the main ground from the alternator is attached to would not get good and tight. The bolt also holds a wiring harness clamp in place.
Apparently b4 when I was cleaning ground points ...and removed and reconnected that bolt ..I crossthreaded it ...would not tighten properly.
Secure and tight now. Hopefully that corrects the issue!
