you dont mention if what carbs you have but...was going to say probably you are a little rich. Won't show at at cold idle or cruising for that matter, but when you are hot you are "choking " a bit. If you have SUs could be as simple as the "choke" mechanism not returning properly to the run position (the jet can stay a little low, or the mechanism can get gummy...
