3) Looks better to some, but it obviously reduces ground clearance.

Cut dem springs if it's really a looks VS budget thing.

That said on a budget, and addressing your actual complaint, I'd start with a 23mm 240 Turbo front sway bar and retain the inherent usefulness of the 245 design.
