How many seconds of cranking cold to get it started? 120-130

Patrick of Mtl may have put me onto the answer for my problem of having to pull the choke at higher rpms, re:

After sitting overnight it takes about 6-7 seconds to start, presumably because fuel isn't there.

On second thought that doesn't make sense... the bowls will not empty back toward the pump by siphon, the vent would prevent that.

However, if the float valve is open, the line will siphon back and take time to refill... nah, there is enough fuel in the bowls to drive a mile.

Nah, this all points to vacuum leak.

I'm putting a vacuum gauge on it to see what's up.
